The Benephit® PVSolo Infusion System, an additional product offering from the Benephit PV Infusion System, allows for selective infusion to a single kidney via the renal arteries. The Benephit PVSolo Infusion System is an FDA 510(k) cleared, novel, proprietary selective infusion catheter system designed for implementing single kidney Targeted Renal Therapy (TRT™) - the direct delivery of physician-specified medications and other therapeutic agents to the kidneys via the renal arteries.
The Benephit PVSolo Infusion System is designed for patients who may benefit from TRT to a single kidney in conjunction with endovascular interventional and diagnostic procedures. The system has also been used for stand-alone percutaneous therapy in patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.
Using the same general platform as the Benephit PV Infusion System, the Benephit PVSolo Infusion System’s small profile allows facile introduction through a second arterial access site during a planned endovascular procedure or through a single access site during surgical procedures.

The Benephit PVSolo Infusion System consists of two components:
1. The PVSolo Bifurcated Infusion Catheter
2. The 5 Fr Introducer Sheath

The PVSolo Bifurcated Infusion Catheter features a solitary active branch to allow for the selective infusion of physician-specified medications and other therapeutic agents directly through a single renal artery. The solitary active branch can be placed in the artery easily, rapidly and safely with minimal radiocontrast media, and without the use of guide wires.

The introducer sheath for the Benephit PVSolo System provides renal access through a single site, allowing a retrograde approach through the femoral artery. |
